I’m Scott Green: school assembly presenter, author, and yes, a real-life PTA dad.
Since 2011 I’ve performed thousands of educational assemblies for K–8 students across Chicago and the Midwest. But now that my own kids are in middle school and junior high, I see school events from your side too. I know how precious your time and budget are, and how hard it is to find programs that are worth it.
That’s why every one of my assemblies has to pass the same test: would this work for my own kids and their classmates? Would it keep them engaged, teach them something meaningful, and leave them talking about it for weeks?
More than tricks
My shows blend curriculum-based learning with real entertainment. I use my background in law (I’m a 2009 U of Illinois law school grad and passed the Bar) and my experience as a professional magician to build shows that are smart, funny and engaging at every grade level.
