SPELLBOUND

Make reading exciting.

That’s SPELL, like magic… and BOUND, like hard or softcover books. Combine them and get a 45-minute assembly that will have your students… well… SPELLBOUND!

SPELLBOUND uses magic tricks to bring the stories of your students’ favorite books to life. Your students become the stars, helping make the magic happen, and by the end of the show will be motivated to read for pleasure.

The assembly changes depending on the grades in the audience, so every group gets age-appropriate content.

Your students will have to decide after each demonstration, was it magic… or science?

Magic… Or Science?

STUDENTS GET CURIOSER AND CURIOSER...

Our MOST INTERACTIVE ASSEMBLY!

Students see a series of demonstrations. For each one, they’re asked to determine: was it a magic trick, or was it science?

If it’s magic, we move on. But if it’s science… students will learn the principles behind what they saw, including centripetal force, the water cycle and life science.

Think how fascinated your students will be. They’re dialed in. By the end, they’re hungry to become the next Marie Curie.

The BLAST Bullying Magic Show

CREATE BETTER STUDENT CITIZENS.

Students learn actionable steps to prevent and stop bullying in your school.

In this 45-minute assembly, the magic tricks are incredible visual demonstrations that build empathy and tolerance and teach strategies for bystanders to identify and reduce bullying in your school.

With curriculum derived from the SPLC's Teaching Tolerance; the ADL's World of Tolerance; the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services and the National Crime Prevention Center, this is one bullying program that gets messaging right.

The program is adjusted to be age-appropriate for any group. For younger grade levels, the emphasis is on building empathy. For older grades, the emphasis is on personal responsibility.

"I just wanted to write you a note thanking you for your performance today at Scullen Middle School. Our students were incredibly engaged and I truly believe that they were able to hear your message of kindness because you were able stimulate their minds through magic during your delivery. You were also able to differentiate your delivery and adjust it to the maturity level of your audience. The 6th, 7th, and 8th graders all received the same message, but you were able to present it to them at their varying maturity levels."

Scott Loughrige, Assistant Principal, Scullen Middle School (Naperville, IL)

The History of Magic

make the arts come alive.

Students take a walk through history through the lens of magic, learning about the development of a millennia-old art form.

They'll see and learn about the oldest magic tricks in the world, the trick so incredible it averted a war, the trick that ended the friendship between Harry Houdini and Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, and more.

Even your most jaded students will be on the edges of their seats. Everyone will discover with a newfound appreciation for the arts, and be curious to learn more about the historical periods and personalities brought to life during the performance.

Family Night Magic Shows

This is the best family night magic show, full stop.

Students have a great time. But adults have just as much fun with this amazing show full of surprises and mind-blowing magic that's really, really funny.

If you've seen other family night magic shows before, you probably think they're just for the children. But Scott Green literally wrote the book on performing magic for all-ages audiences, Excellence in Family Magic. He's renowned nationally in the magic world specifically because his shows entertain children and adults together.

#1 on Yelp and a staple on Chicago television, Scott is simply a cut above. This is the family night show your school will be raving about for years.

Pair one of Scott's family magic shows with assemblies and two great things happen: first, attendance at the after-school event spikes as students drag their parents to see the funny magician from school today; and two, you'll get a great discount.

You can have Scott for your school's family night - or you can settle for someone who merely read his book.
